Remote Learning Advice From a College Sophomore

Some advice from a college sophomore who spent last semester on campus, doing partial remote learning from her dorm room and partial in-person classes:

  1. Try to develop a mindset through reason that this is a temporary situation and life will not be this way for a lot longer.
  2. Go for a hike with a friend or two outside, 6 ft. apart, and/or with masks on. The trees, woods, leaves, earth, and water really help clear the mind.
  3. Talk to a friend on the phone, or face time.
  4. Watch a movie together with a friend on the phone or call each other after agreeing to watch the same movie and talk about your favorite parts.
  5. Work on your Spotify playlist.
  6. Find some arts or crafts that interest you and do them.
